Empower your church members to make sustainable recovery

Relay honestly feels like the piece that was missing from my recovery. I've made it to two weeks a couple times before, maybe 3 or 4? But this by far the easiest it's ever been. I've been putting a lot of work into myself the past couple months, and I feel like it's finally starting to pay off. Hochman's lessons are great and knowing I have a team I can always fall back on, at any time, has been a game changer. Seeing both their successes and setbacks is motivating to keep trucking. Loved the live session I showed up to as well! This sounds like review fluff but seriously, I've been impressed and am grateful to have found Relay. Maybe the most important part of the app is how it doesn't overfocus on the streak. Like, I didn't realize I was about to hit 2 weeks until last night. The streak of sobriety is genuinely the starting point and almost an afterthought, because if you keep up your self-care and stay vigilant about urges, it'll come naturally. Keep on doing your thing, because you're helping men become better, more aware, more honest people. And god knows that's what the world needs right now. Take it easy,

Thank you for the support. I read about Relay in a news article a couple of weeks ago at the absolute lowest point in my addiction. The program seemed to be an answer to my prayers as there are so many aspects to it that I am finding helpful. I wish I had known about Relay a long time ago. I know I have a long road ahead, but the past 14 days has seemed like overcoming my addiction is doable for the first time in my life. Thank you! Relay has been life changing! I’ve tried so many different apps and countless accountability methods. I’ve never found anything so helpful and so easy to stay consistent on. I absolutely love the target idea- the self care and boundaries help me so much. I’m excited and hopeful and have made so much progress in so many different areas. I also LOVE the team support!! That’s been a game changer. This week was the first time in a long time that I had a big urge and successfully reached out and processed it. The urge tool was crucial. Amazing programme so far. Transformational! The key has been understanding that pain is at the root of the issue. Understanding that has unlocked much healing for me and will continue to do so. Levels of accountability, streaks, progress charts have also been really helpful and influential. Appreciate everything you've done and continue to do so. God bless

Honestly I don’t have much to say, except thanks so much for reaching out, that in itself is very encouraging!! I’ve been benefited extremely from the videos and especially the “Log Urge” feature, also the podcast has given me a ton of insight and encouragement on its own. I’m not sure when it’ll, but I’m super excited to attend a meeting at some point having heard how good those can be! I haven't been keeping up with the lessons a lot. But the sense of having a larger community of men who all know my struggle has given me a bigger drive and discipline to stay sober from porn and masturbation. I have been growing closer to Jesus during this process and it is inspiring me to make my own videos on the bible, jesus, health/fitness, etc. The most difficult part has been getting myself to do my own self care routine which includes the lessons. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I have not been this peaceful and driven in my life and feel a real sense of change coming onto me. And yes you are right, procrastination never works very well haha.

Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it quite a lot. So far, things are going well. I have relapsed a couple times myself when starting, but I keep coming back. So far my best was a whole week, which is great because I almost never go that long! But I am learning over time that recovery is not a race. It is a process. One thing that I am learning is that it is important to stay in touch with the team, as not doing so seems to slow their recovery a bit. Thanks for making those start up videos for when I was getting started, those were great. Ultimately I believe that as long as I keep coming back, I will recover. Thanks for the message. I realize I'm replying to your 2-week message a week later, but it was several days old before I noticed it in my inbox, haha. Relay has been so helpful to me so far, so thank you for creating this resource and this community. I'm definitely sticking around after the 30-day trial period. The interaction with the team members, and with you guys through things like the welcome webinar, makes it feel so different than just watching another youtube video about defeating lust. I appreciate the "log urge" function as well; it's been very helpful in getting out of a dangerous headspace. (One suggestion, maybe add a field that lets you note specific triggers? I sometimes find myself wanting to note that in the app, instead of merely where I'm at and what I'm feeling at the moment.) God bless,

I just committed to the full year with this app. Feels scary in a way. But I know God is calling me out of these habits and into a life more reflective of Christ.
